Guest Speakers

One of my friends teaching what is essentially a world cultures class to seventh graders. Yesterday they read about Chinese New Year. The student reading however could not pronouce the Chinese names. His solution: replace every Chinese name with Yao Ming. (I suppose this is accurate enough, considering most Chinese are seven-foot basketball players)

Another friend of mine has a bunch of boys and girls who unexplainabily beat the crap out of each other. Randomly in the hall you will see one just attack another. He calls this "ghetto flirting."
