All in a day's work

Today after first period a child came running down the hall to talk to me. (Is it unusual to see them running? no. Is it unusual when they are running to me? very.) Anyway she just had to tell me that another class of 8th graders was put into the science teacher's room unattended first period. Apparently the students flipped the teacher's desk upside down. (The reason she ran to tell me is because the students think we are dating)

Later on in the day I was asked the following questions by my students:
"Ms. Johnson I bet you're planning to assassinate the president.......and can I help you?" (We were not talking about politics at all)
"So do you prefer eating fish or crustations?"

After the last bell rang I walked into the main office to ask the principal a question. He was engulfed in a conversation with a parent so I waited patiently. That is until I heard him say, "Yes ma'am but that is not an excuse for your child to bite me!" (I slowly crept away)

And finally during our faculty meeting today I found out that they are brining another high school into our building next year. That's right, our building will now house two high schools and a middle school. Clearly there are no potential problems with that scenario.

Can you get me in touch with the potential assassin? Nice to know someone out there agrees with me.
