"Ms. Johnson, it's not even that serious"

I don't know why my posts have been lacking in accounts of eighth grade hilarity/insanity. I feel like I haven't posted a good one in a while. Unfortunately I don't have much right now - well, on Tuesday when I came back to school I did find one of my plastic water bottles with urine in it. That's a little grotesque but kind of amusing. And today I tried to explain what a diplomat was but it just kept going back to Diplomat Records. There was a lot of "Jim Jooooones" and "dipset" yelled out. But outside of that we spent most of the day today investigated illegal odors (although we did never find where one of them originated)

I hate to get sentimental, frankly I never thought I would in this place, but some high school acceptance letters and boys lacrosse games have really tested the tear ducts. I get so proud of those little crazies.

Oh and if you read in the NY Times today that the state of Maryland is taking over some Baltimore City schools and thought that mine might be on the list than you clearly are paying attention. Nicely done!

Get rid of the water bottle. That's about the only statement I'm sure you'd let me make. If I said what I honestly think, you'd be more upset with me than with the actual event. &^%$#*&iuhu3hnb1098nc8 disgusting

Hey Valerie, I guess we all have the same or I might say similar experiences with our middle scholars. Keep up the good work before the state take your and my school under its control. I don't knw what the state is going to do differently____I would love to see the different approach the state would take to correct the overdue miseducation of my negro brothers and sisters.
