I walked into the office this morning

and saw both the 8th grade principal and the 8th grade secretary were out. Then I walked back to my car and drove home...almost. But actually it turned out to be a really fine day. They made me laugh and smile when they ran in front of my car after school and all those things I haven't done in a while.
Lately tons of them have been absent. It is incredible how much better it is to teach 20 students than it is 35. It's a world a difference.
