Hiatus

I realize I have most likely lost my band of followers since I sent out an e-mail announcing my return and then failed to produce anything for two weeks. But now that I sit her attempting to refocus my brain on the happenings of urban public schools I see why I have been absent for so long. That's right, I have nothing to say. I am enjoying a summer free from lesson plans and grades and discipline and have purposefully maintained my distance. Never before in my life have I actually deserved a vacation. Sure, college got stressful at times, but I am not sure it merited the same break that this year has. It has been wonderful to reconnect at home and enjoy time free from middle school. And really, that's all I've got to say.
