I get by with a little help from my friends

I am beginning to feel very content living in this mid-Atlantic location. We all know how much I love my hometown and how much I adored my time in Chicago, but - for right now at least - I am generally happy residing in an area where winter only lasts a month or two and snow days are plentiful. Not to mention the proximity to major cities and relatively low cost of living. Once I move downtown and continue to find my niche I will likely enjoy it even more.

The job is the job. The kids are still semi-intrigued by the United States government and are well on their way to memorizing the bill of rights and developing a superficial (better than nothing!) working knowledge of the Constitution.

Boring. I know.
