Preemptive Victory!

Is there supposed to be a hyphen there? Who knows. Good thing my profession doesn't mandate adequate grammar.

Sadly it appears as though I haven't made a post since September 2007. So much for occupational documentation as self-reflection/entertainment. Well, as the title suggests I'm going to claim victory on my re-posting endeavour without any real commitment to continue beyond this post.

First of all I can absolutely claim that seventh grade is the black hole in the educational wasteland. I have enjoyed approximately .003% of this school year and don't see much of a light coming before June. That said, it looks as though my options for the upcoming year are wide open. The good ol' Owl has been slated to close and our principal officially declared it a good idea to look for alternative placements for next year. Which I suppose isn't half bad considering I don't love that place, but it's just more pressure with poor timing.

I really dislike seeing the children outside of the academic facility that is our school. My real person persona is highly embarrassing to my teacher persona. My sweaty, gym-visiting, Dey Know remix-listening self really didn't need to drive right past them at 6:30pm this evening.
